Welcome to Sunny’s Gifts and Things! It’s 1982 in Waikiki, and while Hurricane Iwa rages outside, Nobu and Ana, longtime shopkeepers are joined by Greg and Samantha—a mismatched couple on a doomed first vacation—and Vincent, a mysterious stranger with a deeper connection than anyone expected. Part family farce, part cultural reckoning, Sunny’s Gifts and Things is a comedy about what we carry, what we inherit, and what it means to find shelter in a storm (even if you have to duct-tape the windows shut yourself).
